Description: The graveyard is located in an arable field in the former Harristown Demesne. It is marked on the OS 1837 edition as 'Old Grave Yard' and shown as a circle of trees. The later OS 25 inch map (1897-1913) names a 'Grave Yard' and a 'Font'. It was not possible to gain access to the graveyard as it was too heavily overgrown. No headstones could be identified through the vegetation but it is possible that headstone do survive on site.

Appraisal: The site is of considerable archaeological, architectural and historic interest, attesting to the long-standing ecclesiastical presence in the area. The medieval parish church of Brannockstown survives in a dilapidated state. Full access was possible to the site due to the dense vegetation. The grounds are neglected and headstones are in generally poor condition, a situation which if unchecked will make the graveyard vulnerable to further degradation.
