Townland: Rosetown Parish: Tankardstown
Denomination: Mixed Diocese: Kildare and Leighlin (RC) / Meath & Kildare (C of I)
Grid Ref: 272327(E), 189754(N) Status: Closed

Boundary Treatment: Rubble stone wall in fair condition. It's intact, but overgrown in places. It's approximately 1m high with 'Soldier' coping.
Natural Heritage Details: Trees/vegetation throughout disturbing the headstones. There is semi natural grassland inside. Lichens covers 10-20% of the walls.
Description: The site is rural and surrounded by pasture and crop fields behind farmyard. A couple of upright headstones can be seen. The ground surface is level. It looks like there is an entrance/gate in the south, where there could be access through the field of cattle. Proper access could not be achieved due to bull in field.
Appraisal: Full access could not be gained to the site. Features that could be identified are the random coursed boundary wall with 'soldier' coping and headstones. No trace of the church survives (RMP files).
