Natural Heritage Details: | Evergreen trees and vegetation throughout disturbing the structure. Lichens cover 80-90% of the walls and ivy 10-20%. | ||
Description: | The site is in a rural location and surrounded by the stud farms pasture fields. Level ground surface, but surrounded by a ditch and low earthen bank with a possible entrance in the south-west. The church is in a middle of a field on the 6" First Edition map from 1837, but it is marked as in ruins on the 25" Second Edition map from 1897-1913. | ||
Appraisal: | The site is of archaeological, architectural and historic interest. A simple structure with undressed quoins with a small belfry. Other features of note is the family vault of the Bellingham family below the present structure. | ||
