Boundary Treatment: Stone wall as the east boundary and fence in good conditions. The wall is stable. Double iron gates and piers. Wire and post fence. Heavy ivy growth on roadside walls.
 
Natural Heritage Details: Beech trees around boundary, holly tree growing out from under a table tomb. Lichens and moss on the headstones. Grass mown.
 
Description: The headstones are located upright on all sides of the church. Kerb set, Celtic and table tombs of limestone, marble and some granite. The ground is a little uneven underfoot. Church marked on 6" First Edition map from 1837 and graveyard marked on 25" Second Edition map, where the church is called St. John's.
 
Appraisal: A 19th century graveyard which contains various cut-stone grave markers of marble, limestone and polished granite. The styles are kerbed, obelisk, table, railed and rectangular shaped headstones, which are of some local social, artistic and local historic interest. Features of note are the church building of limestone and granite, dressed stone gate piers and wrought iron gates.
